Full description

Department of Environment, 1985, Heanton Punchardon, 93 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV86763.

Stables approximately 15 metres south-east of Eastacombe farmhouse, now grain store, early mid 19th century. Rubble with brick lintels and jambs to the openings. Hipped slate roof, 2 storeys with single storey open-fronted extension at left end with slate roof, hipped end to front. Outshut to rear with corrugated roof. Central doorway to each floor with plank door and flanking square openings. Section of original manger survives at upper each. Included for group value with Eastacombe Farmhouse.
