Fox, A., 1952, Nineteenth Report on the Archaeology and Early History of Devon, 9 (Article in Serial). SDV336876.

A silver coin of Aethelred II, AD 978-1016 from the Lydford Mint. It has the name of the moneyer Goda and a short cross on the reverse. Presumed to have been found in the locality.
