Summary

Hut circle and fragmentary field system. The hut is of the simple plan type and survives as 0.9m wide and 0.35m high single orthostat wall surrounding a 4m diameter circular area. Not recorded in the 2002 English Heritage Plym Valley survey.

Full description

Mercer, R. J., 1987, An Archaeological Field Survey of the Upper Plym Valley, Dartmoor 1982-1986, 29 (Report - Survey). SDV165948.

Hut circle. Ill-defined hut circle within stone clitter. Consists of cleared interior surrounded by single orthostats. Bank is completely denuded. West sector is incorporated in wall see sx56se/367. Dimensions: 5m internal, 6.50m external by height 0.35m.
