Long, narrow 'Mill Pond' marked on 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map with a 'Sluice' at the north end where the pond/leat leaves the river and also at the south end where the pond runs into a 'Mill Leat' leading to Whitehall Mill.
