Department of Environment, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV330427.

Upcott house, mid 18th century (dated rainwater head 1752) remodelled mid 19th century. Two storeys. Courtyard service wings. Hipped slate roof. Three centre bays. Sash windows. Venetian window. Attic storey. Plain fanlight. Central wooden bell turret, with weathervane. Plain moulded panelling. For further details see doe list (doe).

Country house. A white stuccoed mansion dated 1752, is prominently situated overlooking the Taw estuary. Situated in a small park with a lodge, curving drive and pinetum. Stockdale noted that it was “an interesting mansion very delightfully situated in a commanding eminence”.
