Full description
Department of Environment, 1984, East Down, 2 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV336982.
Outbuilding, kitchen garden wall and beeboles approx 30m north-east of Northcote Farmhouse. Small cylindrical rubble stone structure in wall of kitchen garden. Polygonal slate roof with presently thatched apex. Around the sides of the inner face of the wall near the base are 2 rows of 28 square recesses above a circle of 6 larger square holes all evenly spread. Upper parts of walling laid dry. Possibly an ash house. Circa 18th century with 20th century roof. Beeboles in kitchen garden wall adjoining.
