Early 19th century park and garden by Repton. Circa 35 hectares. Approach drive from east, with front lodge 450m to east of Luscombe Castle. Walled kitchen garden. The ground at Luscombe Park slopes generally from west to east. Fine views. The present gardens and the plantations in surrounding parkland are related to Repton's proposals. Scattered mature trees also in open parkland beyond lawn and house. Main garden west of house. Backed by shrubs and trees, and with axial path to circular rose garden with formal pattern of box-edge beds round central sundial. Curving walk along north west side of the garden.
