Full description
Department of Environment, 1988, Loxhore, 89 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV62480.
Tomb chest 5m south of nave/chancel juncture to the Comer family in the churchyard of St Michaels parish church in Loxhore. Dates from the 1840's by Finch and Down of Barum. Slate tablet and slated sides on brick plinth. Cyma reversa stone moulding to top and roll moulding to base of slated sides. Slate top records death of Richard Comer died 1840, his widow died 1843 and name of Richard Comer Clarke added in 1903.
