SX 5502 8257 One of a group of over 70 hut circles with enclosures. Hut 9; pot boilers, a small sherd of reddish pottery, slate showing half of perforation.

(17/07/1992) Hut in Standon Down settlement. At SX 55058257. Terraced into hillside. Internal diameter meassures 3.5m. Single orthostatic wall 1.6m wide, 1.4m high. Western edge formed by earthfast boulder. South-facing door defined by single upright slab. Attached to a boundary wall. The 1901 excavation recovered pot boilers, sherd of reddish pot and perforated slate.
