Hut circle '16' of 3.7 metres diameter with wlls 1.8 metres wide by 0.75 metres high on the north side of an enclosure within Standon Down settlement. The 1901 excavation recovered a considerable amount of pottery and cooking stones

Baring Gould, S., 1902, 8th Report of the Dartmoor Exploration Committee, 162 (Article in Serial). SDV215645.

One of a group of over 70 hut circles with enclosures. Hut 16; much pottery, portions of a shallow pot, some pot boilers.

(17/07/1992) Hut in Standon Down settlement. At SX 55128257. Terraced into hillside. Internal diameter measures 3.7m. Single orthostatic wall 1.8m wide, 0.75m high. Boundary walls lead south-west and south-east from this hut. The 1901 excavation recovered considerable amount of pottery and cooking stones.
