Full description
Vanstone, A. C., 19/02/1988, Library (Worksheet). SDV349793.
Site visit 19th February 1988. This building is the parish church hall. A smaller building at SS44752884 was until recently used as the library. A new library building is shown on the Ordnance Survey 6 inch (1975) map.

The Hall at the entrance to the village was built in the 1930s by A. Griffey and Son at a cost of £800, this being funded by the people of Northam. It was later taken over by the Anglican Church and was known as the Church Hall. The Hall was run by them until 2000. In July 2008 Northam Town Council regained ownership.
