Full description

One of a group of over 70 hut circles with enclosures. Hut 20; both door jambs standing. Pot boilers, worked flint flake, of knife type.

(17/07/1992) Hut in Standon Down settlement. At SX 55148253. Terraced into hillslope. Internal diameter measures 4.5m. Coursed wall 1.2m wide, 0.8m high. South-facing doorway defined by upright slabs. Four boundary walls lead from this hut. The 1901 excavation recovered pot boilers and flint knife.
