A substantial Post Medieval quarry is visible on aerial photographs as an earthwork on Berry Hill, Bratton Fleming. Two small mounds on the eastern edge of the pit are most likely spoil heaps. It is similar in size and form to Berryhill quarry which lies some 200 metres to the east and is probably contemporary with it. Like Berryhill, it is depicted on the first edition Ordnance Survey map and annotated "quarry" suggesting it was still in use at the time of publication in 1889. Other details: Monument Number 1488842.
