A small oval pit or quarry is visible on aerial photographs as an earthwork on the north west slope of Berry Hill, Bratton Fleming. A small mound alongside the pit may be the remains of a spoil heap. The quarry is depicted and annotated on the first edition Ordnance, suggesting it was in use at this point, and as such it most likely dates to the Post Medieval period. There is no indication as to what material was extracted here, but a number of stone quarries are visible in the surrounding area. Other details: Monument Number 1488829.
