Watts, M., 2010, Town Mills, Landkey, Devon: Historic Building Recording, 2, 9 (Report - Survey). SDV347200.
There is a date of 1659 in plasterwork in the house, which is referred to as The Manor House, although no clear historical support for this identification has been found. During the early 20th century a bakery was operated from part of the house, and appears to have still been working in the early 1970s. Other details: Figures 1-5.
