One of a group of over 70 hut circles with enclosures. Hut 29; large pebbles, pot boilers.

(17/07/1992) Hut in Standon Down settlement. At SX 55188245. Terraced into hillslope. Internal diameter measures 4.8m. Single orthostatic wall 2m wide, 1.1m high. Raised stone platform, built against east side of interior, 2.2m long by 1.4m wide by 0.6m high, may be a bench. Boundary wall leads to north. The 1901 excavation recovered large pebbles and pot boilers.
