Summary

Hut circle '35' of 6.2 metres diameter with walls 1.2 metres wide by 1.3 metres high and a boundary running west within Standon Down settlement. The 1901 excavation recovered a rubbing stone and a pot boiler.

SX55058247 One of a group of over 70 hut circles with enclosures. Hut 35; rubbing stone, pot boiler.

(17/07/1992) Hut in Standon Down settlement. At SX 55078246. Terraced into hillside. Internal diameter measures 6.2m. Double orthostatic wall 1.2m wide, 1.3m high. South-facing doorway defined by upright slabs. The 1901 excavation recovered a rubber and pot boiler.

Hut circle '5' of 6.0 metres diameter within 'Standon Down North-west' settlement has a south-facing entrance retaining both door jambs and having a natural sill outside the doorway. A short boundary extends to a small hut to the west. Excavated in 1901.
