One of a group of over 70 hut circles with enclosures. Hut 42; flint fragment, pot boiler.

(17/07/1992) Hut in Standon Down settlement. At SX 55028247. Terraced into hillslope internal diameter measures 4.1m. Coursed wall 1.8m wide, 0.7m high. South-facing doorway, partly blocked, defined by upright slabs. Three boundary walls lead from this structure. The 1901 excavation recovered flint fragment and some pot boilers.
