Full description
Department of Environment, 1988, Yarnscombe. Provisional List, 207 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV14073.
Fifteenth century font. Unusually well-preserved and unaltered with an octagonal bow, the faces carved alternately with trefoil-headed panels and quatrefoil, with an old lead lining.
Anonymous, Undated, The Paris [sic] Church, Yarnscombe (Un-published). SDV15483.
The font bears Tudor designs which would seem to date it about the latter half of the 15th century Other details: Notes found in the church.
