Full description
Child, P., 2000, Unauthorised Works to Listed Building: 2 Home Farm Cottages, Fremington (Correspondence). SDV355417.
Recent unauthorised works comprise insertion of UPVC windows. Previous unauthorised works in 1987 included replacement of original sash windows with casements, removal of brick chimney stack and replacement of roof covering.

Farmhouse, circa 1840-50. Rendered stone rubble. Slate roof to front, corrugated asbestos roof to rear. Stacks. Three room plan with entrance hall. Kitchen wing makes an overall L-shaped plan. Two storeys. Regular 4 window range all hornless 16 paned sashes. Cambered arched doorway. Four panelled door. A 20th century french window. Lean-to pantiled porch roof. The 19th century internal joinery largely intact.
