Summary

Yarner sited into a gentle slope, rising to the west. Roughcast, rubble masonry where exposed. Room to the se has three beams with step stops and a fireplace lintel with scroll stops. The door on the ne side now has a curved head but has been remade from a wide shoulder-headed door. The central truss of room to the se has a slightly cambered tie-beam, morticed collar and threaded principals and was probably a closed truss. Two other trusses are similar but without tie-beams. This room (possibly originally divided) probably related to other buildings. The wide door might indicate an agricultural use and the fireplace is likely to be an addition. The date is probably early to mid-sixteenth century (exeter industrial archaeology group).

POSSIBLY ORIGINALLY DIVIDED, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV162698.

Yarner sited into a gentle slope, rising to the west. Roughcast, rubble masonry where exposed. Room to the se has three beams with step stops and a fireplace lintel with scroll stops.
