Summary
Hut Circle '1a' at Watern Oke settlement is a small hut of 4 metres diameter with a wall curving south for 53 metres and joining Hut Circle '5'. Sling stones and some pieces of rough quartz were found in 1905.

Full description
Anderson, I. K., 1906, 11th Report of the Dartmoor Exploration Committee, 102-3, Hut 1a (Article in Serial). SDV337055.
One of a group of hut circles at Watern Oke. Hut 1a; small circle; entrance on south side, very rugged and pit like. External diameter 15 feet; internal 9 feet, with rocks on the west side. A wall from the north-east leads in a circular direction south, and joins hut circle 5, with a branch leading in a similar way between Huts 7 and 8.
Sling stones and some pieces of rough quartz were found.
