Summary

Hut circles '9' and '10' are two joined circles of 5 metres and 6 metres diameter with sheltered entrances on the south sides at Watern Oke settlement. Excavation in 1905 found that Hut '9' had a fireplaces and both had burnt stones

Anderson, I. K., 1906, 11th Report of the Dartmoor Exploration Committee, 104, Huts 9 & 10 (Article in Serial). SDV337055.

Huts 9 and 10; these circles are contiguous. To the north-west of Hut 9 is a large flat stone 10 feet in length, 3 feet wide. These huts seem to have been similarly designed with sheltered entrances on south side in each case. Internal diameters were 10 feet and 13 feet respectively.
In hut 9, the fireplace was located at the north where many burnt stones were found and also large pounding stones.
Hut 10 was not in good condition having been rather pulled about. A good many stones of the usual character were found.
