Full description

House, known as Court Cottage. Formerly a farmhouse. Dated 1651, possibly earlier origins, rearranged internally in late 19th century and modernized in 20th century. Coursed blocks of granite ashlar, patched in places with granite stone rubble; granite stacks topped with 19th century and 20th century brick; thatch roof.
A two room plan house facing south and built down the hillslope. Irregular 3 window front. Most of the carpentry and joinery detail is late 19th century and 20th century. The fireplaces however are original. Roof structure comprises A-frame trusses with pegged and spiked lap-jointed collars. See designation record for full list details.
