Summary

Small, 17th century threshing barn, constructed from granite stone rubble with corrugated asbestos roof (formerly thatch). Large, nearly full height, doorway left of centre, it now contains a 20th century garage door. Inside is open to the roof; a four-bay roof of much-repaired A-frame trusses with pegged lap-jointed collars. The barn is one of an attractive group of listed buildings in the hamlet.

Barn approximately 7 metres north-east of St. Olaves Cottage.
Barn. 17th century. Granite stone rubble; corrugated asbestos roof (formerly thatch).
Plan and description: small gable-ended threshing barn facing north-west. Large, nearly full height, doorway left of centre with remains of flanking midstrey walls. It now contains a 20th century garage door. Ventilation slits in right end wall.
Inside is open to the roof; a four-bay roof of much-repaired A-frame trusses with pegged lap-jointed collars.
