Butterwell in roadside bank approx 80m east of gidleigh barton. Butterwell over spring. Probably c18. Made from roughly-shaped slabs of granite. The well faces onto the road to the west. It is roughly square in plan over the spring with a corbelled roof made of large slabs of granite and there is a low slab across the front (doe).
