FORMERLY THATCH, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV279043.

Calf house 8m ne of west underhill farmhouse. Calf house. Probably c18. Cob on stone rubble footings including some large granite boulders; corrugated iron roof (formerly thatch).

Plan and exterior description: calf house with hayloft over facing south-east, the back is terraced into the slope. On the front, towards the left, there is a doorway with a hayloft loading hatch directly above. To right, near the top, is a beebole. Another hayloft loading hatch to rear is loaded directly from the terrace. Roof is hipped each end. Interior has plain carpentry detail including a-frame roof trusses with pegged lap-jointed collars (doe).
