Summary

Granite gateposts approximately 25 metres north-west of Oxenham Manor. Dated 1714. Looking from the forecourt they define a pedestrian walkway to left and a carriageway to right. All the gate posts are monolithic posts, square in section, with soffit- moulded caps and ball finials. All the posts are inscribed on the forecourt side; the left one with the initials of William Oxenham, the centre one with his arms and the right one with the date 1714.

Forecourt gateposts approximately 25 metres north-west of Oxenham Manor. Gate posts. Dated 1714. Tall granite ashlar gateposts. There are three. Looking from the forecourt they define a pedestrian walkway to left and a carriageway to right. All the gate posts are monolithic posts, square in section, with soffit-moulded caps and ball finials. All the posts are inscribed on the forecourt side; the left one with the initials of William Oxenham, the centre one with his arms and the right one with the date 1714. All have curved bracket-like decorative incisions below.
