This house used to be the village school but has now been converted, and is used as holiday accommodation. It is not shown on the Tithe Map, but is on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map of 1884, which also shows a dividing fence and two small buildings at the rear, probably separate playgrounds and lavatories for the girls and boys. Construction is a steep pitched concrete interlocking tile roof on random squared stone walls with cut stone quoins. Windows are painted wood casement windows and doors are ledged and braced boarded timber. Other details: LP35: Photographs.
