OP33 SX 5282 6684. A large excavation in the northern sector of the plantation. Measures 20.0 metres by 11.0 metres by 3.0 metres deep. This feature may have been associated with either quarrying or mining. No sign of an adit was found, nor any large area of spoil, which would indicate the former, but neither is there any clearly quarried face.
