At Dunnabridge Farm south-east of the old longhouse is a small three walled structure roofed over by a large stone slab, reputed to be the Crockern Tor table which was used by the stannary parliament and brought down from the tor in the 18th century. The structure housed a granite trough, filled with water running from a small channel at the back of the structure, and running out along a similar channel at the front. Said to be a shoot-trough - where potatoes were washed (citing Bray, 1836).
Illustration (citing Burnard, 1893).
Visited 21/9/1987 A tractor was accidently driven into the structure in late 1986, and the whole thing - granite walls, partly mortared, collapsed. It was repaired by the National Park in September 1987 and the slab replaced.
