(16/04/1995) Ordnance Survey hut 'B', Gerrard's 'western' (hut 'A'). One of four hut circles forming part of a partially enclosed settlement. They are linked by a length on enclosure walling, suggesting that they probably pre-date the enclosure.
The interior of the western hut circle is 4.2m in diameter and is defined by a 1.3m wide double orthostatic wall standing up to 0.6m high. The doorway survives as a gap in the surrounding wall, faces south, is lined on the east and is partly blocked by a large orthostat which was probably originally the western door jamb.
