Summary

Hut circle in settlement north-west of Hentor Meadow. One of a group of at least five huts to the east and south-east of the enclosure. Hut with annex on the southern side. Hut of 5.8 metres by 6.2 metres with walls 1.2 metres wide and 0.4 metres high. Adjoining the south wall is a small, sub-rectangular annexe open to the west.

Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950, SX56NE79 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV164267.

(02/05/1950) Hut D; probably double walled type, but due to the ruinous condition, it is difficult to say. Probable entrance to south. Diameter 7.0m, wall height 0.5m.

(16/4/1995) Huts A and B. Two of the six huts recorded by Gerrard lying in a tight cluster between enclosure and Willings Walls reave.
Conjoined plan and double orthostat walling type. Interior is 6m in diameter and the surrounding 2m wide wall stands up to 0.6m high. Hut B is attached to the southern part of this building.
Hut B. Conjoined plan and rubble bank walling type. Interior is oval, 4.5m by 4m and is defined by a 2m wide wall standing up to 0.7m high.
This hut is site No. 102 828 in the National Trust inventory (1994).

SX 5852 6578. A hut circle with internal measurements of 5.8m north-south by 6.2m and walls 1.2m wide and 0.4m high. Adjoining the south wall is a small, sub-rectangular annex open to the west.
