Shavercombe. Cist B on plan, near southern fence of the former Hentor newtake. In perfect condition, except that coverstone is missing. Real depth greater than present depth.

(20/12/1978) On the scrub covered slope north of Hen Tor at approximately 388.0m OD is a cairn and cist. The cairn measures 4.7m in diameter, 0.5m high. The cist measures 0.8m by 0.4m and is 0.3m deep. A probable cover stone to the north, 0.9m by 0.7m. Revised at 1:10 000 on PFD.

Hen Tor N '3' cairn at SX59566579 of 3.0 metres diameter by 0.3 metres high with a cist. A low mound, with all main elements remaining in place. One of the end stones overlaps the south-western side slab. Capstone is displaced downhill. Includes a detailed sketch of the cist remains.

(16/03/2020) Condition of the cairn / cist assessed as very good, vegetation is not having an impact on the site at this time. Description of the features from the HER is accurate; easy to find in area lightly grazed. There is grass in bottom of cist.
