Visited on 6th May 2008. Milestone in grass verge or bank on the east side of the road, approximately 50 metres north of the turn to West.Pitt Farm. Badly sunk under a hedge and covered in mud. Part excavation undertaken to reveal Roman numerals and Ordnance Survey benchmark. Requires work to clear stone and show full legend 'II Miles From Tiverton'. Circa 1819.
