Full description

Keene, B., Untitled Source (Worksheet). SDV338105.

A pale grey sandstone Neolithic axe, 260 millimeters in length, half polished half pecked, was found during ploughing in November 1988. Retained by finder. A copy of Exeter Museum's enquiry form is in the parish file. In august 1989 the field was ploughed for permanent re-seeding. Fieldwalking undertaken by N Tucker and members of TAG. Details on worksheet. Two flint flakes and a pebble core found.
