Full description

Number 19 High Street (north side). Formerly part of Number 17. Rebuilt earlier 19th century. 3 storeys. 2 windows. Hipped Welsh slate roof with dentil eaves cornice. Slate-hung, timber-framed front with string at first floor level. Architraved sash windows with glazing bars. Brick faced ground floor with recessed segmental-arched sash windows. Good wooden doorcase with panelled pilasters carrying entablature with dentil cornice; square-headed doorway with rectangular fanlight and raised and fielded panel door (citing M. Laithwaite).
