Summary

Vis=29/9/1986 (robinson) fmw visit. Vis=estimated -/-/1992 (gerrard) hut circle terraced into the hillslope. Simple plan and rubble bank walling type. The interior measures 2.3m in diameter and is defined by a 1.6m wide wall standing up to 0.7m high. Excavations by the dartmoor exploration committee in 1905 led the excavators to suggest that this building was a cook-house (mpp).

Vis=estimated -/-/1993 (ancient monuments) hut circle forming part of large unenclosed settlement. Stone + earth wall 1.6m wide, 0.7m high defining area 2.3m diam. Interpreted by dartmoor exploration committee as a cookhouse (am).
