Full description
Department of Environment, 1988, Huish, 66 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV6312.
Walled garden approximately 30 metres north-north-west of Heanton Satchville. Walled garden. Eighteenth century possibly extended in 19th century. Brick and rubble. The higher section is in garden wall bond and English bond, the top half of the wall is recessed slightly and it has buttresses at intervals along it. Inside there is stonework to approximately half way up. The lower section of walling is flush all the way and has stonework facing it internally. The garden is divided internally into 2 parts and at the centre of the wall which does so is a large pedimented gateway with brick pilaster either side of round-headed doorway.
