Summary

Great Sortridge / Plaster Consuls lay c.90m north of trial pits SX57SW/81, and c.440m north-east of Great West Sortridge Mine (SX57SW/137). Two levels extend west from the 45m deep shaft: one of these, at a depth of 27m, extends approximately 100m towards area of proposed South West Water reservoir. Two other levels extend eastwards.
