DBA undertaken along a corridor associated with the A30/A303 between Honiton and Devonshire Inn. This study is intended to inform the development of options for improvements to the A30/A303 between Honiton and Devonshire Inn.
The Milestone is located on a grass covered roadside verge beside the old road between Monkton and Upottery. The milestone is a diminutive feature and therefore has a very limited setting. The only important aspects of this setting are the road adjacent to it and the road’s verges in which it lays. The milestone would only be affected by development should the scheme directly affect the milestone or its immediate surroundings which is considered to be unlikely.
