House, formerly two cottages and forge and adjoining cob boundary wall. Probably 18th century, modernised in mid 20th century. Plastered cob on rubble footings; thatched roof to main block, slated to rear. L-shaped building with main block facing north-west and breaking its line right of centre. Originally the forge was right of break, entrance at right end now blocked by triple arrangement of 20th century sashes.
