Name:Farm Buildings South-west of Ivington Farmhouse

Summary

Range of farm buildings immediately to the south south west of ivington farmhouse. Range of farm buildings including cider house and general storage with cartway through, which is the entrance range of a planned farmstead. Built by the garretts of bishops court as the home farm, 1846. Red brick in flemish bond; hipped, slate roof with lead rolls. The range farms the south-east side of the farmstead; it has only 2 later inserted windows or openings to the outer wall, except for the large wagon entrance to the extreme left-hand side (south), under the continuous roof which connects with that of the bank barn. The big double doors are contemporary. Inner elevation with 3 first floor 2-light windows, some with stanchions and 2 hay and apple loft access openings.3 openings and 2 doors below. The range forms part of a very well preserved and complete planned farmstead of the 1840s (doe).
