Bridgewater, W. R., 1976, Drying Yard (Worksheet). SDV227220.
Laundry drying yard at Ashbury. Raised circular area (20 sided) built of local stone with sandstone block at the corner of each side, surrounded by iron railings, grassed internally, central post with several clothes lines. Step up from laundry area and gate. Probably 19th century.
