A former marl pit is located on a west facing slope to the east of Old Rectory Farm (formerly Glebe Farm) in the Parish of Honiton. The pit is depicted on historic maps and annotated as ‘Old Marl Pit’ supporting the interpretation that it had passed out of use prior to the 1880s The earthwork remains visible as an earthwork on recent aerial photographs and images derived from lidar data. It was not transcribed as part of the NMP survey.
