10/51 Linhay c20m east of Lambert Farmhouse-GV II
Linhay. Probably late C18-early C19. Plastered cob on rubble footings on 3 sides with originally open front now closed with C20 blockwork and weatherboarding; thatched roof. 5-bays. Heavy first floor oak crossbeams are set in rear cob wall and are supported by granite pillars at the front. Oak posts are set in the front ends of the beams and rise past the hayloft to carry the A-frame roof trusses with pegged lap-jointed collars. Included for group value.
