Two fields, centred at SX75914249 and SX75994249 are respectively named 'Great Burrow' and 'Little Burrow' on the Tithe Map. A reasonably well preserved earthen mound lies in the north west corner of the long narrow field called 'Little Burrow'. It is situated on rising ground just above the floor of a wide saddle at 43 metres in an arable field and is almost certainly a round barrow. The mound measures up to 30 metres across and is on average 1.3 metres in height although it has been spread by the plough, and the north and west sides have been cut the a road and hedge respectively. No clear ground evidence of a mound in the adjoining 'Great Burrow' field, although there is slightly higher point at SX75914249 in this generally flat pasture field which might be worth investigating when under plough.
