Full description
Department of Environment, 1985, Braunton, 14 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV73918.
Barn 40 metres east of Boode farmhouse, probably 18th century. Rubble, rendered to rear, with gable-ended slate roof. Horse engine house with gable end to rear, with corrugated iron roof supported on 2 pairs of circular piers and squared end piers. Central double cart entrance with 20th century doors. Blocked opening to right with cob infilling. Four raised crucks survive intact with 2 tiers of trenched purlins. Angle struts removed and collars replaced. Other details: 8/15.
