Oval enclosures are visible as cropmarks of ditches.

Irregular single ditched enclosure, with circular mark at south-west corner. Recorded from the air in 1984.

Site visit 18th February 1988. Site lies in slight saddle in narrow north-east/south-west ridge.

Cropmarks of a ditch 2 to 4m wide are visible on aerial photographs of 1984 enclosing an oval area approximately 67m by 44m in size, on the summit of a ridge to the northwest of Shindle Mill.
A smaller enclosure or annexe 25m by 15m in size is visible abutting the south-west end of the larger enclosure.
The enclosures are interpreted as being probably of Bronze Age to Iron Age date.
