Full description

Department of Environment, 1985, Braunton, 37 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV73918.

Public house, probably 17th century. Rendered rubble and cob, slate roof with gable ends. Stack at left gable end and larger axial stack. L-shaped plan.3-window range of timber sashes with glazing bars and stone sills on each floor and offset 20th century door towards lower end. Twentieth century single storey extension at right gable end. Stopped and chamfered beams to room below axial stack, but interior much altered. Other details: 11/78.
